Okay, all sarcasm aside, it isn't. I bought like, 3/6 Christmas gifts this year, all from the electronics section and spent like, 60 bucks. Which is good, because that means I just had to use my gift card that my aunt gave me for graduation, which had exactly 67.43 left on it. Hell yes. I also decided 'what the hell' and got a game for myself. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, for the Nintendo DS.

Ho. Ly. Crap. I've been playing it all day- turning it on in the stores when waiting for the others, etc. I've already got 6 hours on it, and I bought the thing this morning.

It's by the same people who made Persona, and the gist of it is the same. You summon demons from your COMP (basically your character's DSi) and you try to prevent these catastrophes from happening, in a turn-based rpg where every decision you make will affect your endgame. For those people on my f-list who like the Persona series, I'd recommend it, if you haven't tried it already- which, I'm sure you have.

Speaking of which, I've been very tempted to buy a PS2 just so I could play Persona again. At the same time... if I bought a Wii, I could play Fire Emblem and hook my DSi up to it, and... D8

ALSO I got two Bel shirts (PURPLE AND BLACK STRIPES FINA-FUCKING-LY) and knocked a few people off of my gift list.

I'll probably post a gift meme soon that I expect the majority of my f-list to fill out. Or else. >D

Okay, guys, here's a honest-to-god question. Nobody will offend me if they don't respond, no harm will ever come of it, and I won't hold it against you, I promise.

How many people are interested in reading what I'm doing for NaNoWriMo? Some people on my f-list have asked me about it, and that's all well and good, but I'm only posting it to macchiare right now under a members-only lock.

So, the solution is! I'll be posting it to my own journal from now on- both as a means to back up the story and a way to get it out to my friends who are not in macchiare. But! So I don't spam you with things you don't care about, it'll be under a friends filter.

Who (if anyone) wants to be added to this filter? Just a note: this means that I probably will not continue posting to macchiare. Two places at once, when the members of the comm probably don't want to read it anyway, is a little redundant.

I really shouldn't be doing this, as I have no time at all, and I won't be able to write at least two days every week, period, but I'm trying anyway. College, plus job, plus finding a new job, plus just... coordinating my life. D8 I might set my goal a little lower if I have to.

Should I upload it to macchiare as I finish it? Are you guys actually interested? XD

Pretty much the shittiest day in the world, and I'm tired of ranting about it on my journal, so have this instead.



1) Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.

2) Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.

3) Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy.

4) List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection, being sure not to direct-link!

I just had the weirdest conversation ever with boymun. And I'm in the weirdest mood ever. I HATE THE WORLD SO MUCH RAWRGH... and yet, I'm like LOL LIFE IS SO SILLY LET'S RANT ABOUT IT IN FUNNY VOICES.

...also, I was offered pot by a co-worker yesterday. And we actually became pretty good friends. She's into anime and Magic: the Gathering, Heroes of might and magic 5.... and marijuana? I said no, obv., but OTL that was just the weirdest situation ever. She's still pretty cool, though.

Also, I think I'm sick. My throat hurts and I'm coughing a lot.
